How neat saw some thing about this on the History Channel but this show even more .Bet it would be some thing to see in person.
I am sure it would be something to see in person. I have not yet seen it but maybe one of these days. This is what I mean about visiting places far off and missing what you have here. Paula

Well I do not get to far out any more or close either LOL
Why is it that we take all these things for granted when they are on your doorstep?
Emmm do you find you do the same thing? I think we are all guilty of doing this. There is a lot to see over here. I think if our weather was predictable we would end up exploring places over here....it is the weather which in fact rules all our decisions. Paula
We got to see and ride on the Falkirk Wheel back in February. My great nephew had won a VIP Pass and so we got to sit at the front of the boat as it went up and down and also see inside the control room. A fascinating and creative piece of engineering.

What a great experience for you. I havent even seen it yet. That was a great win by your nephew. It certainly looks fascinating and a lot of imagination went into this...but you are very fortunate to have had a ride on it and see in the control room. Thank you for sharing your experience. Paula
