What about you being in, or out of, the car? Do you have to be in, if the dog wants out? What about if the dog wants in?

The dog lets itself out...it gets back in when the owner arrives LOL

Paula...oh, I thought maybe the dog door used one of those "automatic openers". If the dog can get in, by itself, wouldn't this cause a security problem? Well, maybe not, if it's too small for a person (smile).

lol....that's great....a very cool idea.....but my pup just jumps up into the back of myu pickup truck then comes thru the sliding window between the cab and the bed...and she likes to do that when we're riding down the road....dog's as crazy as it's owner.....lol.....hope you have a great day/week Paula...take care

Gil its the same idea as those people who use a cat flap on their house. You would have to be very tiny.
