1. Two times a week, we go to a nice restaurant, have a little beverage, good food, and companionship. She goes on Tuesdays, and I go on Fridays.
2. We also sleep in separate beds. Hers is in California and mine is in Texas.
3. I take my wife everywhere..... but she keeps finding her way back.
4. I asked my wife where she wanted to go for our anniversary. "Somewhere I haven't been in a long time!" she said. So I suggested the kitchen.
5. We always hold hands. If I let go, she shops.
6. She has an electric blender, electric toaster, and an electric bread maker. She said "There are too many gadgets and no place to sit down!" .. So I bought her an electric chair.
7. My wife told me the car wasn't running well because there was water in the carburetor. I asked where the car was; she told me "In the lake."
8. She got a mud pack and looked great for two days. Then the mud fell off.
9. She ran after the garbage truck, yelling "Am I too late for the garbage?" .... The driver said "No, jump in!"

11. I married Miss Right. I just didn't know her first name was Always.
12. I haven't spoken to my wife in 18 months. I don't like to interrupt her.
13. The last fight was my fault though. My wife asked "What's on the TV?" I said "Dust!"
Can't you just hear him say all of these? I love it.........this is the good old days when humour didn't have to start with a four-letter word ........ just clean and simple fun. |

 | He's my absolute favorite comedian of all time! I remember his tv shows. Thanks for posting this. |
 | Don't Forget his closing line "and may God bless |
 | Great post Paula, that is funny because I was just talking about that the other day - do you remember a show called "Sanford & Son" that was so funny I used to laugh and laugh and there was nothing vulgar or no cussing just clean and good fun "Oooohhhh Elizabeth, it's the big one, I'm coming home"!! |
 | Have several of his videos an thought he was the greatest when I was growing up still do wish we had more like him now. |
 | We didnt see very much of him when I was growing up. I guess it depends where you live. I do know that he was resepcted by many. |
 | We watched him Jack Benny an Milton Berle May be dating myself but is okay I don't mind earned the right LOL |
 | We did get some Jack Benny over here, but not many that I remember of..but then I was young at the time. I never head my parents mention them. You had lots of shows over there which we never had here

 | Shame missed some good comedians then . |
 | We missed a lot. I would have loved to have seen the Doris Day show, the John Denver Show, more of Jack Benny as he was funny, we did see Lucille Ball. Do you remember the series The Mary Tyler Moore Show? I like that ..and Rhoda..she was good too. However we didnt get the old actors. Maybe I have forgotten a lot but I know some others have mentioned I have never heard of before

 | Oh the John Denver show was great an Doris Day her voice is one of my favorites. Love her sining that is. So many good ones could go on for days on that one . Mitch Miller following the bouncing ball love his music too. Have a great love of many different kinds of music. But you had shows we never got that would equal ours . |
 | I would have loved to have seen both the John Denver and Doris Day shows. I did see a clip of one of her shows and she always looked such fun. She is a nice looking woman. I guess we did have a lot of shows, but I think there were more American stars. Oh I do remember George Burns and Gracie Allen we did get that show. They were amusing.
