for everyone

MERRY CHRISTMAS...

On the way home last night, I was listening to the radio when a newscaster
called his little 91 year old granny to talk to her about the 'Holidays'. He
mentioned that he had noticed that Christmas has become so 'politically
correct' that no mention of Christmas is made by most retailers, we now wish
people 'Happy Holidays.'

His granny said she missed the Old Fashioned Christmas when everyone
wished each other 'Merry Christmas'.

I thought about it and agree...so this year I will be making a conscious
effort to wish everyone Merry Christmas...my way of saying that I am
celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. So if
you agree with me,  please do the same and hopefully we can
prevent one more treasured
tradition from being lost in the sea of 'Political
Correctness.'

 God Bless
and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Hi Paula.

I support being "Politically incorrect" If they wish to live among us they must accept our Traditions and our Culture.

John.

Merry Christmas.

John I have no idea why you cannot see this.

Which browser are you using? If it is IE then it is possible it has something to do with the compatability....I have that happen with some avatars.

Paula

I'm using as always MSIE 7 as it gives far fewer problems. Amongst other things "Firefox" will not display my 4 home pages. But regarding photos there should be no difference.
scottishps wrote on Dec 23, '07
I have not yet installed Firefox on this machine. I do know that the lastest edition of Firefox does not like the graphics it just closes. I was using an old edition and I had no problems however I do have avatars which I cannot see when I use IE...wonder why this happens.

You are right there should be no difference but there is.

No Paula,
The only thing I know is that when choosing a page design many are marked as being for Firefox only, others are only for MSIE 7. But there should be no difference with photos or Gif pictures.

John I havent gone into page design but I have noticed the odd warning about using Firefox. I thought this problem I had with the one avatar was because my computer is old...but it is the same and my computeris new as you know.

Out of curiosity did you ever try Firefox with Mulitply after the last update? It just closed down with me that is why I used an old version.

Paula, I can't see the picture either. Let me rejoice in my political incorrectness and wish you and everyone who reads this page a MERRY CHRISTMAS (I had to put it in caps just in case one of those politically correct people read your page and I want to make sure they see it. LOL)

LOLOL Thank you for your Christmas wishes. Yes MERRY CHRISTMAS to you
I am so thankful that we dont have these stupid laws in our country. At least our cards all read Merry Christmas...this Happy Seasons..that is unbelievable.
I hope one of those politically correct people read this too. LOL

Hi Paula, a little bit late, but I could not open this file neither. I don't know why I could not, Christmas was yesterday, but a a happy new year. I was curious to your christmas photo.
scottishps wrote on Dec 28, '07
Hello Joke
I am now having problems myself with the graphic. I dont understand this at all. I could view it without any problems..
If I can get the photo again I shall post it. I dont think I kept it.

Hi Paula, it does not matter. It was the idea, which was very good. (i don't know how to write this in english, but we have idiom for this). The meaning that's what matters.
Thanks you very much and you a happy and healthy 2008. I hope you had a nice Christmas. Greetings, Joke

Hello Joke,
You write very good English and I understand what you mean. It is sad how things have managed to get so bad. We are better here in Scotland we say Merry Christmas without any problem.
Thank you for your kind wishes, the same are reciprocated. Yes I had a very nice Christmas thank you and hope you did likewise.
Paula
